A monthly evening of honoring what’s present
In astrology, each day of the week is said to belong to a planet — and Monday belongs to the Moon. The Moon is also the planet most closely tied to the body: our instincts, our needs, the parts of us that register before we have words for them. It’s a fitting day, then, to gather and listen to what the body already knows.
Here, we let the body lead — and let astrology be a tool for deeper illumination, not an explanation to fit ourselves into.
This monthly evening moves through a simple practice:
We’ll begin by checking in and settling into the space together, with a brief, light look at what the Moon is doing that night — just enough to orient us, not to define what we’ll find. From there, a gentle body scan — noticing, without judgment, what’s present: tension, ease, warmth, quiet, whatever’s actually there.
Then, with colored pencils and paper we will create an outline of the body, you’ll translate what you’re noticing onto paper. Color and shape become another language for what you’re sensing — no art experience needed, and nothing to get right.
We’ll close by sharing what came up (group sharing is always optional), and with a group energetic attunement through vocal toning — honoring what’s present in each of us, and sending light through the space and to one another.
Because the Moon governs the body and moves through a different zodiac sign roughly every two and a half days, no two sessions land the same way astrologically. Each gathering is simply an invitation to notice what’s true this month, in your body, under the current sky.
