Astrology is a lot like watercolor painting. Each layer of understanding builds upon the last — slowly, beautifully — until a clearer picture begins to emerge. You don't need to rush to the full image. You just need to begin.
And beginning is its own kind of courage. To say: I want to understand this. I want to learn the sky as a living map of my own unfolding.
Cosmic Threads is a foundations course rooted in traditional western, Hellenistic astrology. It is designed to give you a solid, working understanding of your birth chart — not as a novelty, but as a living practice. A way of orienting yourself in time. A language for your inner life.
This is not esoteric astrology. This is the bedrock. The grammar you need before the poetry can land.
This course is for you if —
You have felt drawn to astrology for a while. Maybe you've read your sun sign. Maybe you've looked up your rising. Maybe you've bought a book that's still sitting on your shelf. You sense there is something real here — something that could genuinely help you understand yourself and your life — but you haven't had a structured, thoughtful space to actually learn it.
By the end of our time together, you will be able to open your birth chart and know what you are looking at. You will understand the architecture of the sky — the houses, the signs, the planets, the aspects — and you will have the foundation to begin working consciously with your own transits as they unfold.

I.
A Brief History of Astrology & Introduction to the Chart Wheel We begin with roots. Where did this tradition come from, and what does the chart wheel actually represent? We orient ourselves before we begin to build.

The Houses The 12 houses are the architecture of the chart — the areas of life through which everything else moves. We learn this structure first, so that every planet and sign we encounter has a place to live.

Aspects & the Whole Wheel How do the planets speak to one another? Aspects are the relationships — the conversations — happening inside your chart. We learn to read the whole wheel as a living system.

IV.
The 12 Zodiac Signs Each sign carries its own quality, element, and mode. We move through all twelve — not as personality types, but as energetic archetypes woven through the chart.

V.
The Sun, Moon & Mercury The inner trinity. Your core identity, your emotional body, your mind and voice. We begin to place these luminaries and personal planets in the chart.

Venus & Mars Desire, beauty, relatability, drive, and will. How do you love? How do you pursue? What moves you toward and what moves you to act?

Jupiter & Saturn Expansion and contraction. Blessing and boundary. The great teachers of the traditional sky, and what they ask of us.

Synthesis — Live Chart Practice & The Whole Picture We bring it all together. Using real charts from within our group, we practice reading the whole — finding the threads, seeing the weave.
The Details
What to Know
All gatherings take place live on Zoom and are recorded. Replays are available for 3 months following each session — long enough to return, re-listen, and truly absorb what you've received. This is intentional. Astrology rewards slow study.
When you join Cosmic Threads, you also join the Cosmic Threads Discord community — a dedicated, ongoing space for questions, reflections, chart shares, and continued learning together. This community is yours for life. No additional cost, no expiration. The conversation continues long after our last gathering.

Yes. This course is designed specifically for those beginning their journey. No prior knowledge is required — only curiosity.

Come anyway. While having your birth time gives us the fullest picture, you can still participate and learn meaningfully without it. We will work with what you have.

Yes. Replays will be available for 3 months following each session.
