Mother's Day is a day that holds many things — celebration, tenderness, grief, gratitude, and everything in between. Whether you are honoring a mother, missing one, becoming one, or simply desiring to being held — this sound bath is for you. Come as you are and let the sound do the rest.
WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?
A sound bath is created by playing different musical instruments to support the body, mind, and spirit in reaching a state of deep relaxation so healing may occur on each level. Sound healing has been used for thousands of years. Connecting with pure vibrational tones, we can work with our different energetic systems to re-align our sacred temple to a higher vibrational expression. As you lie down, each sound is played around or over your body — each tone acting as a tuner, supporting your energetic field in releasing disharmony and returning to a more balanced state. You will experience the healing vibrations of quartz crystal singing bowls and soothing percussive instruments.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
We will begin with a short meditation to check in and reconnect with our breath, followed by a grounding visualization to close. You will then get comfortable lying down on your yoga mat as we begin our sound journey — allowing yourself to relax and receive the beautiful healing frequencies as you venture into your inner world. Your body and the tones will co-create a supportive space for healing to occur physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. As we near the end of our journey I will guide you gently back to the body.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
A yoga mat to lie on
A pillow or two for added body support
A blanket in case it gets chilly
A covering for your eyes
Comfortable, breathable, loose clothing
Water to stay hydrated
